7 MW Uzhorod Project: Strengthening Ukraine’s Clean Energy Future

In October 2019, Koray Energy commissioned its 7 MW renewable energy project in Uzhorod, Ukraine. With an annual output of 8,294 MWh, the facility provides enough clean

electricity to power nearly 2,500 households.

By preventing around 3,700 tons of CO₂ emissions each year, the Uzhorod project contributes to both Ukraine’s energy independence and Europe’s green energy transition.

As one of Koray Energy’s first international achievements, Uzhorod marks an important step on our long-term journey toward 1 GW of renewable capacity in Europe—a vision of sustainable, reliable, and carbon-free energy for future generations.
