Larissa Project: A Key Step Toward Koray Energy’s 1 GW European Vision

In December 2024, we proudly commissioned our 14 MW renewable energy project in Larissa, Greece. The facility generates an impressive 21,196 MWh of clean electricity each year, enough to supply nearly 6,000 households with sustainable energy.

By delivering green power to the grid, the Larissa project prevents approximately 9,500 tons of CO₂ emissions annually—the equivalent of removing more than 2,000 cars from the road. This tangible impact highlights the critical role of renewable energy in addressing climate change and creating healthier communities.

Beyond its local benefits, the project strengthens progress toward Europe’s Green Deal goals, supporting the continent’s ambition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

For Koray Energy, Larissa is more than a single project—it is one of the first meaningful steps on our long-term journey toward 1 GW of renewable capacity across Europe. Each milestone like this brings us closer to building a truly sustainable energy future for generations to come.
